Mrs. Smith graduated from Brookland-Cayce High School and was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church in Gilbert, SC. She retired from CASE Power and Equipment. She loved to travel in the RV with her husband and enjoyed living on Lake Murray.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her sister, Judy Tompkins (Carl) of Gilbert; nephews, Ashley Tompkins (Tammy) of Leesville, Alan Tompkins of Gilbert, John Kyzer, Douglas Kyzer and niece, Susan Kyzer Sallstrom (Walt) of Leesville.
She was predeceased by her husband, Calvin Burnett Smith and sister, Thelma Kneece Kyzer.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022 at West Side Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
