Andrew Charles Howell

Andrew C. Howell passed away on April 18, 2024, with family at his bedside. Funeral services will be held at Lexington Baptist Church Worship Center on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 11:00 am. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 9:00 am - 11:00 am. The Reverend Dan Williams will be officiating. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Born December 17, 1968, in Columbia, South Carolina, he was the son of Estes B. Howell, Jr. and Betty T. Howell.

Andrew attended public schools in Lexington, South Carolina, where he played football for the Lexington High School Wildcats. After high school, he attended North Greenville University and the University of South Carolina where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Social Science. Andrew went on to pursue a career in sales and then became the co-owner of Angelo’s of Gilbert.

He was a loving son, father and brother and is survived by his daughters, Evangelea (Lea) M. Howell, Alena M. Howell, and his son, Andrew (Drew) Charles Howell II. He is also survived by his siblings, Royce H. Vickery (Stephen) of South Pittsburg, Tennessee; Esther H. Ilderton (Mark) of Lexington, South Carolina; Sharon H. McEntire of San Diego, California; and Susan H. Spires (John) of Lexington, South Carolina; William S. Howell (Doris) of Purvis, Mississippi; Regley E. Howell (Genee) of Harrison, Tennessee; and his devoted twin, Albert E. Howell (Tara) of Lexington and companion, Priscilla Wangness. He was preceded in death by his father, Estes B. Howell, Jr. and his mother, Betty T. Howell.

A special thank you to his devoted friend Brent Caughman for the love and support provided to Andrew and the entire family. In addition, the family wishes to thank everyone who lifted Andrew in prayer and support on his journey.
