Alice Shull Cook

LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Alice Shull Cook, 66, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with interment in St. David Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Harvest Hope Food Bank, P.O. Box 451, Columbia, SC 29202.

Mrs. Cook was born May 11, 1946 in Columbia, SC and went to her heavenly home on Sunday, November 11, 2012 after a 17 month courageous battle. She was a daughter of the late Perry “Bill” Kaminer Shull and Lois Margaret Kelly Shull. In addition to her love of the lord, her greatest joy was giving her unconditional love as a mother and grandmother. Her home and her heart were selflessly open to anyone in need.

Mrs. Cook is survived by her daughter and beloved son-in-law, Tami and Gregg Hinson; sister, Lois Marie Raneri; brother, Johnny Pierce Shull (Jan); daughter-in-law, Shannon Cook Stevens; grandchildren, William Cullen Cook, Mayson Elizabeth Cook, Jackson William Hinson and Landon Ronald Hinson and former husband, Ronald W. Cook Sr. She was predeceased by her brother, Perry Kaminer Shull, Jr. and cherished son, Ronald William Cook, Jr.
