Lewiston - Pauline M. Fortier, 84 formerly of College Road, Greene passed away Monday, May 27, 2013 at Ouellette's Adult Foster Care where she had resided the past 2 1/2 years. She was born in Berlin, N.H. December 25, 1928 daughter of the late Wilfred and Roseanna Garand Beaudette. She was educated in Hartford Connecticut schools and moved to Lewiston in 1944. Pauline married Lionel O. Fortier April 16, 1949 and he passed away March 23, 1992. Pauline was employed at the Continental Mill and Hill Mill and later worked as housekeeping supervisor at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at the Basilica of Ss. Peter and Paul. She is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Harrison and husband Victor of Oshawa, Ontario; a son, Philip P. Fortier of Greene; eight grandchildren and a great granddaughter; two sisters, Cecile Anctil and Lorraine Russell both of Lewiston; a brother, Lionel Beaudette and wife Barbara of Waterford, Connecticut and a beloved, close, and longtime friend, Velma Russell. She was predeceased by a daughter, Yvonne Toomey in 1993 and four sisters, Annette Fedishin, Jeannine Beaudette, Theresa Brault and Anita Colangelo. Visitation at the funeral home Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Friday at 11:00 AM with committal prayers following at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
