Marilyn Jean Diaz

Marilyn Jean Diaz, born August 25, 1959, passed away peacefully at 3:45 AM on September 26, 2024, in her home town of Auburn, Maine, surrounded by her three children and loved ones. She was 65 years old. Marilyn dedicated her life to helping others, bringing warmth and kindness to everyone she met. She had a passion for cooking and loved sharing her creations with family and friends. A devoted animal lover, she cherished her time spent around horses and dogs.

Marilyn’s presence was a source of light and comfort to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is survived by her three children: Jeffrey Scott Lamare and his wife Theresa of Auburn, Maine, along with their children, Savannah Bisson, Devon Westleigh, and Triston Westleigh; Joseph Eldred Small and his wife Lynn of Las Vegas, Nevada, and their two daughters, Sara Lynn Small and Katelynn Ann Small; and Jessica Jean Amundsen of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and her son Nathan Small.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to William Matheson, a very dear and close friend of Marilyn, who was an angel during her final days. His unwavering support, compassion, and strength helped guide them through this difficult time, providing comfort and solace when it was needed most.

Her generous spirit, loving heart, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends will forever be remembered. Marilyn will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
