LEWISTON - Joseph O. Blouin, 81, a resident of Lafayette Street in Lewiston died early Monday morning after a long illness at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born in Berlin, New Hampshire, January 5, 1927, the son of Peter J. and Rose Alma (Bernard) Blouin. Mr. Blouin worked many years as a weaver for the Bates Mill as well as working as a security guard in his later years for St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. He received a diploma from Universal Detective Training School. Survivors include his wife of 47 years Muriel G. Blouin of Lewiston; two stepsons; Gary Nauzokas of Lewiston and Michael Nauzokas of Portland. BLOUIN died in Lewiston, January 7, 2008, Mr. Joseph O. Blouin age 81 years a resident of Lewiston. A Mass of Christian Burial honoring his life will be held THURSDAY 11:00AM at Holy Family Church. Interment with committal prayers to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
