Joline Francis Barry, 64, of Lewiston, ME went to rest in the arms of our Lord and touch the face of God on Wednesday, November 20th at 3:33 AM 2024 after a courageous battle with Adenocarcinoma (Esophageal Cancer). She passed peacefully, completely enveloped with love surrounded by her family.
Joline was born on January 16th, 1960 to parents Harold and Francis Theberge in Auburn, ME. After attending and graduating from Edward Little High School in 1978, she went on to work in a number of different careers. Throughout the 1990's she was employed by Dr. Raymond T Bedette as an Orthodontic Assistant and then went on to spend the early 2000's working as an elementary school teacher at Poland Spring Academy in Poland Spring. She especially enjoyed that career as she loved working with children and her own children attended the school as well.
As a lifelong devout Catholic, Joline enjoyed praying the Rosary. She was part of numerous prayer groups and had many friends at her church, Holy Family Church on Sabattus St. She and her family regularly attended the church as she raised her children. Joline was devoted to the Virgin Mother Mary, and carried a Miraculous Medal with her throughout her lifetime.
In 1982 She went on to meet and marry her lifelong partner and soulmate, David Barry. They eventually purchased a family home and raised 4 wonderful children: Nicholas (81'), Ryan (83'), Jessica (85') and Jenna (88'). David and Joline raised their children in the church and instilled in them kindness, generosity, respect and love. They worked hard to provide a good life for their children, never hesitating to sacrifice their own ambitions for the love they had for their family. They continued to love, support and encourage their children throughout their lives. Always supporting them through their own decisions and invariably paving the way for them with love and acceptance.
Joline was predeceased by her mother, Francis Theberge, her father, Harold Theberge and her mother-in-law, Florence Barry.
She is survived by her sons Nicholas Barry and Ryan Barry, and daughters Jessica Barry and Jenna Barry. She is survived by her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, Lucas Barry, Lexie Westleigh, Noah Dubois and Lincoln Dubols. She is survived by her brother, Russ Theberge and wife Tommy Theberge as well as her beloved sister, Doreen Parker. She is also survived by her nephews Matthew Theberge, Nathan Parker, Zack Parker and niece Bethany Theberge.
