LEWISTON - James T.Sadler, Sr., 56 a resident of 108 North Temple Street died Saturday evening at home as he wished surrounded and comforted by family and friends. He was born in Grimsby, England, April 17, 1950 the son of Paul J and Elizabeth (Dolan) Crowell. He grew up and was educated in England. Jim was 18 when he came to America to find his loving wife, Betsy whom he married November 29, 1974. He worked as a supervisor for Jones and Vining until the age of 36 when he became disabled. Though ill for many years, Jim was very social, he loved life, and was a true friend to everyone he met. Survivors include his wife Betsy of Lewiston; his parents, Paul and Elizabeth Crowell of Bicester, England;two sons, Paul Sadler and his girlfriend, Melissa Chasse of Lewiston; and Jim Sadler, Jr., and his fianc�e, Tanya Fortin of Lewiston. Also surviving are Jim's in-laws, Kay and Bernie Baird of Turner, 2 brothers in law, David Baird and his wife Terry of Old Orchard Beach; Jeff Baird and his wife Michelle of Richmond, VA; and a sister in law Anne Drouin and her husband, Bob of Poland. Also close friends, Jim Richard, Terry Smith, Pauline Ellis as well as "Best Buddies" Uncle Ed and Aunt Pat. SADLER died in Lewiston, January 20, 2007, Mr. James T. Sadler, Sr., age 56 years a resident of Lewiston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held THURSDAY 11:00AM at St. Philip's Church. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
