Lewiston: Emilienne A. Dusseault , 93, of 100 Campus Avenue, died Monday at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center after a short illness. Born in Lewiston, Maine on November 10, 1917, the daughter of the late Philippe and Amanda Dulac Laurendeau, she graduated from Lewiston High School with the Class of 1937. She was married to Albert Dusseault on February 17, 1947. He died on November 30, 1966. She resided in Manchester, NH for 15 years and returned to Lewiston in 1967. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. Mrs. Dusseault was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at The Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul, the Holy Cross and Lewiston Senior Citizen groups, Covenant 50 and Horizon 55. Employed as a bookkeeper for Singer Sewing Machine Co. for ten years, she was an accomplished seamstress and dressmaker. She loved sewing and knitting for her family, was an avid pinochle player and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her four children, Helene Torti and husband Michael of South Yarmouth, MA; Nancy Judge and husband Wade of Winnetka, IL; Peter Dusseault and wife Barbara of Salem, MA; and Patricia Axelsen and husband Thomas of Falmouth, ME. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Elaine Torti Legare and husband Steve; Amanda Torti Battisti and husband Angelo; Kyle, Nathan and Clark Judge; Alyson and Jaime Dusseault; and Neil, Kate and Hans Axelsen. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Haley and Michael Legare and Emily and Sophia Battisti. Also surviving are her brother Maurice Laurendeau and wife Sheila and sister-in-law Therese Laurendeau, all of Lewiston, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers: Emile, Raymond, Albert, Dominique and Bertrand Laurendeau and by two sisters: Cecile Laurendeau and Juliette Simard. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the upper Church at The Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul Friday at 11:00 AM. Committal at St.Peter's Cemetery.
