My condolences to the family and also I must apologize for being so late with this. I just found out she passed away . many years ago someone gave me her tape of songs as a gift and I played them over and over and singing along with her I even sang the song stained glass windows in church many times. it touched so many people's hearts. one day my granddaughter who was a toddler at the time took my tape and destroyed it, I was so heart broken, I looked for Diane for more than 10 years and had people looking for her to find out where I could get another one but no one could find her or anything about her finally today sept.13,2014 I found her name , I got so excited then found this . I just had to write my heart felt condolences to you all, I don't know if you will get it or not but just had to tell you all how much she touched my heart and life with her songs. I met Diane At Liberty Baptist Church in Bristol. Her music was uplifting and encouraging. I appreciated her testimony and song. God used her is an amazing way. I want to say thank you to you, Leo and Michael for encouraging her in her ministry. Thank you for the priveledge I had of hearing her sing. Every time I heard her she shared a part of herself in testimony. I shall continue to uphold you and your family in prayer.

This past December I met Diane and Leo at the annual holiday concert at our church. I didn't know what to expect, never having been exposed to this type of ministry. With each song she sang, and each story she told, I was enthralled. Tears of joy streamed down my face as she told of this young man she met and how God kept pushing her to "talk to him about God" and how hesitant she was. She finally got up the courage and they went out to dinner, had a whirlwind courtship and married him (Leo). It was just so wonderful, so inspiring and so full of love and joy. She also told us the story of her daughter, and her two granddaughters that she brought with her that day, shyly coloring in the seats next to me. She was so proud that day of her little girls.When we left services that day, I stopped in the back and bought every single CD that Leo had displayed. Barely made it to the car and it was opened and popped in the CD player. I was so inspired by Diane's music that I contacted her about allowing me to use her music on my website. She was thrilled to let me do so, but asked that when I figured out how to do it, to let her know because they were trying to add music to their own site.Diane's ministry will live on. I shake my head in disbelief that she will not be here the first week of December, physically anyway. Diane will forever remain in our hearts, in our thoughts, and Leo and Michael will remain in our prayers.We thank you for allowing us to share Diane with you . . . for the ministry you all provided for so many people. Dear Leo, children and granddaughters,Our hearts break for you this day. We were so taken aback when Ken Fernald let us know of Diane's illness and then her passing. We prayed constantly for her and you all.We first met you all when Diane presented her concert at Kennebunk Baptist, back in the 80's. Diane was a wonderful lady who gave great concerts at both Camp and Church. My favorite song has always been Stained Glass Window. I was shocked and saddened to hear of her sudden passing, but know that she has joined a much bigger choir. I was sad to hear of Diane's passing. I recall you using my driveway to park in when you came to The Baptist Church in Warren, RI, where I was pastor. We also shared some sound system frustrations, as I recall. It was truly a blessing to have Diane come and share her ministry with us. God's peace be with you, Leo. She was a shining example of a truly dedicated Christian lady, with a talent from God which she shared with so many through the years. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten by those with whom she came in contact over her years of music ministry.

i met Diane at a writers conference at China Lake Conference Center, probably 5 years ago. We became good friends, sharing special moments. Diane said to me one night when i went to a concert -"you must get tired hearing these songs as you heard me sing them last week at the concert you attended." i told her never. The Lord called her to be a deciple of Christ's and she did a grand job. i expect she touched a lot of lives - some she knew about and others that she didn't know. She touched mine in a special way and i will never forget her. i have her cassettes & cds to play,and her wonderful book to read.

Leo,I sure got a big shock today when I checked my E-mail. I cannot hardly believe it. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the children. I will always cherish the times you spent staying in our home! We love you!

We first met Diand, Leo and Michael when we were serving the New Gloucester Bible Church in New Gloucester, ME. She came to NGBC several times while we were their and blessed us each time with her music and testimony. How we laughed at her story of her "gall bladder" before Michael sang with her. "Stained Glass Window" was always a special blessing, both the book and the song. The Muise family also came to us in Summerville and gave us the gift of concerts at Pleasant Hill Bible Church where we now serve as Village Missionaries. We truly enjoyed the special times we spent together around our kitchen table visiting, laughing, sharing burdens and praying together. Diane will be sorely missed here on this earth, but we look foward to singing with her around the throne when we join her in heaven. My first meeting with Diane was at my church. She came and did a ladies ministry, "You Send A Rainbow." My daughter Cassie, gave her heart to the Lord that day at 15 yrs. old. We shed many tears of joy that day. Diane also did 2 other concerts in our area that weekend that we were able to attend. How we loved hearing her sing. When she came back again to a local church we were happy to see her and say hello again. When she shared her stories and joys and tears, we felt a special connection. Since then we've often prayed for her ministry and family. We've been overjoyed to receive all the newsletters and updates. And now we weep with you Leo, and with your children for your loss. My heart broke when I heard the news. Diane will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful servant of God and I know that she is now singing with the angels. What a comfort to know that we will one day see her again in Glory. We met her and Leo at a church out side of Crermont RV park in Florida a few years ago. Saw them again at busch Gardens a few days later at the bird show. We bought her acc. tape of Before you leave Jerico. Every time we sing it we get wonderful praise from the audiance. What a powerful song!!!!!Can't recommmend it enough. There aren't enough glorious words to say on behalf of Diane. Her voice was truly a gift from God, as was her wonderful testimony. Diane appeared twice at our local Christian Women's Club over the past 5-6 years and just listening to her sing sent chills through my whole body. She got the first standing ovation of any of our musicians. She was inspiring,energetic, upbeat, dynamic and on fire for the Lord. Her Remember the Rainbow song will always remind me of her great devotion and love for Jesus Christ and for spreading His Word to those she came in contact with. Praise and Glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for He gave her to us for a short while, but now has taken her back to be with Him in Heaven so she might lead the great Hallelujah chorus!

Diane was an extraordinary woman. She truly Loved her Lord & Family. You could see that everytime she sang. I loved receiving my newsletters so I could keep up with their lives and see what was going on in their lives. Reading those left you crying and laughing. She loved talking about her children whom she truly loved & adored. She was a beautiful woman inside & out. We loved it whenever she came to Pleasant View Wesleyan Church, Muncy, PA. I have always enjoyed Diane's concerts and have been to quite a few of them every time I bought her newest tape with all the others to get the best deal and shared the ones that were duplicates of the ones I had bought prior. I would never allow anyone copy my tapes but I would give them one. My niece Carrie Wentworth sings a lot of Diane's songs we especially love the ones she wrote, I'll talk to the Father and Stained Glass Window. Carrie is a missionary to Indoneisa and will be home this month she is doing a free concert for family and freinds at the New Beginnings Church of God in Waterville on Friday night. As you go through the "Valley of the Shadow of Death"...and even death itself, remember, you are not alone. You have countless friends who have you in their thoughts and prayers. Never met Diane, but she was a friend of Joy and Beckys' mom. We have a number of her tapes and books, and enjoy listening to them. Hi, I remember years ago we ate at the Pioneer House on Rt. 2 in Farmington with your son and our 2 boys, at that time we each had one in little league. I am a member of the First Baptist Church in North Adams, Massachusetts. Diane and Leo came to visit us and share her gift a few times. Each time was a very special event at our church. Everyone waited in great anticipation for her to start singing and share her stories. She usually finished with How Great Thou Art, stunning the congregation.On a personal note, I enjoy her CD's and listen to them often. She is the only Christian singer on my Ipod.She will be missed so much.My sympathy to Leo and the family.

We had sung there the week before - and we came back to hear her sing the next Thursday at the Golden Heirs Senior Citizen's Program because we were still in the area. If you remmber, we ate lunch together there and got acquainted and shared common stories abut being on the road in full-time faith ministry - as we were on the road for about 15 years and about 6 in complete full-time faith ministry.It was a delight to get to meet you both and we are shocked to hear this news through your e-mail. But....we are SO GLAD that we had written after we got home, or we would not know of your situation now.The thing that thrilled us so much was that you were both in the ministry as we had been for so many years - and then that her song: "The Stain-Glass Window" had blessed our heart so much !!! AND.....would you believe that we went to Brooksville for church the following Sunday - and then to dinner at the Wesleyan Retirement Center afterward -- and WE COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT WAS PRESENTED THERE AFTER DINNER -- it was a lady WHO MAKES STAINED GLASS WINDOW PICTURES for people !!!SHE WAS AWESOMELY TALENTED.I was SO EXCITED that, after her presentation, I had her come to the car to HEAR DIANE'S SONG -- AND SHE LOVED IT SO MUCH THAT SHE BOUGHT THE TAPE FROM ME. It will certainly enhance her presentations as she gives them. What a BLESSING for the Lord to let us MEET YOU and then HER all in the same week. God is GOOD -- and I KNOW DIANE IS SINGING HIS PRAISES IN HEAVEN WITH HIM. When our church found out about Diane's homegoing we were as I am sure others were, in shock and disbelief. Since the first time Diane ministered to us at the New Fellowship Baptist Church in Titusville, Florida, she captured our hearts with her genuine love for the Lord. She did not come as a performer to show off her God given talents. She showed herself an instrument that the Lord worked through to touch the lives of others. She offered comfort, and encouragement that touched the lives of all who heard her sing.Her stories helped us connect with her in a very special way. In my heart,as I am sure in the heart of others, I would love to hear her sing live once more. For now her ministry on CD will have to do until one day we will sing together for all eternity. Diane came to our church once,my wife and daughter had the privilidge of attending her performance, I could not go being a truck driver I was away at the time. I wish I had gone, I feel I missed seeing a special someone, I'm sure I did!When prayer requests started coming in,I too prayed, the news of her passing on brought tears to my eyes.Surely she is in heaven, happily serving our LORD JESUS and awaiting the rest of her family.

Diane is such an inspiration to us all. Her music and testimony says it all!!! We all enjoyed having her and being able to share a part of her in our lives as we did hers.She is an inspiration to all of us and I know she is in Glory and singing with the angels. She will be missed and loved in our hearts.... One day we will meet again!!!

Dear Leo and family,What a terrible loss for you. You said that Diane was ready to go, but you weren't ready to let her go, and I know exactly how that feels.This morning when I was praying for yu and the family I looked up the name of God in Hebrew that might apply to this situation and was drawn to El Olam - Everlasting God. I was then led to Psalm 90. It seemed to speak of Diane and her passing: "Lord you have been our dwelling place thoughout all generations..."(vs.1) The Lord has been Diane's dwelling place all her life. The verses that follow are somewhat of a "downer," as they speak of death and man's iniquity, but follow through to vs. 14: "Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days." Is that not Diane?? Finally, vs. 17: "May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us, establish the work of our hands for us, yes, establish the work of our hands." Diane's life and work will not quickly be forgotten because it was a life lived for God and work done for God. God's peace to all of you who remember her.

No words that can be said here would ever show just how much of an affect she had on us...I will say that I had just finished reading the note that my sister sent to me about the EL baseball team...How they saw an eagle flying overhead at their practice at 3PM on Monday when she went to be with our Lord....that's Diane...they all saw it..we felt it in our hearts...we will miss her but we WILL see her again... and that is the promise.With love always,Charleen & Alton

I have many of her tapes and her song book..and Diane has been on my mind in many of my trials.. because "HE Sends a rainbow" has been the song of comfort to me. While God is my foundation he has always reached out to me and talked to me thru song... and Diane's songs, music has been the first I reach for in times of need.. It has been many years since I first heard Diane sing at the Baptist church in North Creek. We then asked her to come and sing at our church. It was wonderful to have her. Diane had such a voice for the Lord. It am happy to say that thru E-mails we kept in touch. I will always enjoy her music and the book I bought from her. Some of her songs are sung in our church. That will really hit my spirit now when I hear them.My prayers are with Leo and the family as each day they face a new life knowing that Diane is in heaven waiting for them. Her voice will be heard. It was a couple of years ago at a ladies retreat at our church in Cassville, NY that I received Christ as my personal savior when Diane came and shared her music and stories. I was going through difficult times in my life as a young teen. She shared the story of her son and then sang the song "More Than I Do" and at that moment I reallized that I needed Christ in my life. My walk with the lord is going great and I praise God for that. I know it was God's doing but I also thank Diane and Leo for that too. I love Diane's music and her stories. When she was here after the ladies retreat, we liked her so much that we got my dad and grandmother to go to the next concert and we all bought CDs. Diane helped me make a very important decision in my life and she will never be forgotten by my family and I. She was an amazing woman from what I knew of her and I want to thank her and Leo for the amazing music ministry. Diane will be very missed. I praise God that I will get to see her again.

Leo and family,I am so very saddened with the news of Diane's passing. She did a concert at Southside Baptist Church in Waycross, GA many years ago and we were so touched by her sweet testimony, her ministry and her beautiful voice she used to glorify God. Through the years I have enjoyed getting her emails with updates about her ministry and reading about her love for her family.She is singing with the angels now, but I know your hearts will be heavy for a long time. Please know we are praying for you all during this difficult time.

Diane Muise... Just her name brings with it so many memories! She came into my life when I was 19. I was introduced to her through another church friend, Eleanor. I began working for Diane selling Sarah Coventry and it was then that I got to know her beautiful family and her loving and faithful spirit as I began to babysit for David and Linda on occasion. There isn't time or space enough here to say all that Diane meant to me. She was my safe haven through some very stormy waters growing up. We shared many laughs together over the years and she never failed to share her faith and encourage me in mine! I'd sometimes go with her to a Christian Women's Club luncheon, or to a CLT rehearsal. We'd go to lunch together. She was always there for me and I will always be there for her family anytime they should need to talk or need anything I might be able to provide. Over the years, Diane's life got very busy with her music ministry but whenever we'd run into each other, it was like yesterday. We'd hug and chat until next time. I saw her a day or two before my birthday which was the last day of May. She was with her beloved granddaughter. I know now that God gave me that day as my goodbye and I am grateful--though my heart aches. Diane Muise... a woman of God, a loving and devoted wife and mom, a loving grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin and a friend to soooo very many! Diane Muise... strength of character, "grace under fire," the voice of an angel, and a friend that I will always cherish. I LOVE YOU, DIANE AND I'M SO SORRY WE DIDN"T GET TO SPEND MORE TIME TOGETHER. I FEEL SO BADLY ABOUT THAT BUT AS ALWAYS I KNOW YOU'D UNDERSTAND! One day when I was hurting you sang for me over the phone... "Hold on, my child, joy comes in the morning. Weeping only lasts for the night. Hold on my child, joy comes in the morning. The darkest hour means dawn is just in sight!" Hold on to that promise, Muise family! Leo and family, I met Diane at FBC in Bar Harbor. The first concert I went to truly touched my heart as I was wondering how God could use someone so broken as I. The Holy Spirit used Diane to touch my heart and to remind me of His love and Faithfulness. Diane was and will be special to myself and my family. I remember the first time I heard Diane sing and she opened my heart to the beauty of a God given voice. Diane has meant so much to me for the past sixteen years. She was always there with a listening ear and an encouraging word. She was a beautiful woman inside and out! Heaven has gained a soul who throughout her life showed a true dedication and desire to serve her Saviour.Leo, Marc, David, Linda, Michael, you are each in our prayers as you walk through this valley. Diane sang at the Free Church in Westfield, MA as well as a church in Huntington, MA and I was so blessed each time. I have listened to her cassettes over & over through the years and enjoyed reading her book. Only in heaven will we truly know the number of lives that she has touched with her voice & testimony. Many will say to her in eternity, "God used you to bring me into the Kingdom. She was loved and will be missed but for those in the Kingdom, it's never goodbye, it's see you later!!

Diane will be greatly missed. Leo, you are in our prayers and thoughts. We always enjoyed and looked forward to our visits with you and Diane. Thank you for serving the Lord so faithfully. Diane's music will always be such a blessing. I will continue to sing it and listen to her sing it for as look as I can. I am so grateful that we got to visit with Diane one last time this past March. I enjoyed our visit and the concert was one of the best ever. Dear Leo and family,Our heartfelt sympathy in the loss of Diane...so unexpected and quick; so unbelievable. It's hard at such a time and we want to reason why...but all you can do is to rest in His presence. Her music ministry touched many lives for Christ and she will only know in Heaven the extent of her obedience as she went into the world in His name. When I sang at our local nursing home last Fall, I used almost all of Diane's songs from her songbook, including 'Don't Let the Amens Die'...that is what she would say now.
