William B. Troth, IIIWilliam Brandriff Troth, III passed away at Crestview Center Nursing Home in Langhorne, PA on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the age of 74.After he was born and raised in Atlantic City, NJ, Mr. Troth served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War from December 1961 to December 1965 and then in the reserves until December, 1967. After marrying in 1967, he spent a few years living in Pordenone, Italy as a civilian working for Raytheon Company at the US Air Force Base in Aviano, Italy and has since resided in Bucks County since 1972.He is a member of the Masonic Order.Mr. Troth educated at Capital Institute of Technology ASEE and University of Maryland BSEE.He retired in September 2006 after being employed at United Aircraft Corporation at RCA, Raytheon Company in Massachusetts which transferred him to work in Aviano, Italy, Loral Micorcom Corporation, Aydin Monitor Systems, Vector Corporation, L3 Communications, GDP Space Systems and Universal Space Network as an electronics engineer. Through his career he has met and worked with many people all over the world.Mr. Troth is survived by his loving wife of almost 51 years, Deborah O. (Worrell). He is the loving father of William IV residing in Plymouth, PA and Robert residing in Langhorne, PA. He is granddad to three grandsons; William V (his wife Ashley), Michael residing in Virginia and Tyler. He is the great granddad to Steven and Willow all residing in the Nanticoke/Wilkes-Barre, PA area.Mr. Troth was a avid lover of boating, golfing, traveling and enjoyed being where there is aqua blue water and palm trees. We enjoyed his fun nature and his infectious laugh.Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 3:00 until 5:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will be held privately.
