William C. Evert, of Levittown died peacefully on Friday, April 9, 2010 at his home. He was 68. Mr. Evert was born in Ashland, PA and was a 1960 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School. He has resided in Levittown for the past 47 years. He was employed with Rimtec Corp in Burlington, NJ for 33 years until retiring on April 15, 2001. Mr. Evert was a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1960 until 1964. He was a Free and Accepted Mason of Williamson-Corinthian Lodge #368 in Philadelphia and a Knights Templer Royal Arch Chapter #52. He was a member of Emilie United Methodist Church. William had a wonderful life with his beloved wife of 46 years, Catherine "Casey" (Ford) Evert. He was the loving father of Nicholas M. Evert and his fianc Diana Lynn Napoli of Fairless Hills and John F. Evert of Philadelphia. He was the devoted grandfather of Nichole Marie Evert. Mr. Evert's family would like to thank the staff at Attleboro Nursing and Rehab, Odyssey Hospice and Bright Star Home Nursing for their compassionate care of William. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park.
