Born and raised in Philadelphia, and a graduate of Frankford High School, Sue has been a Bensalem resident for over 50 years.To all who knew her, Sue was a cheerful and radiant spirit who was steadfast in her beliefs. She loved the Blessed Mother Mary, reading, gardening and caring for all her pets. As a mother, she instilled lifelong beliefs of being responsible and maintaining integrity in her four boys. She was also a loving, devoted wife to her husband of 57 years, Raymond J. Ebner Jr., who passed away last year.
She is survived by her children Ray Jr. (Julie), Keith (Lori), Darren (Kelly) and Brent. She was “Nanny” to her six grandchildren, Ryan, Connor, Matthew, Victoria, Ray III and Nicholas. She is the dear sister of Jackie Vearling and beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Anne (Reefer) and Albert Laeff, along with her other dear sister, Audrey Cohen.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7th at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to ASPCA.org in honor of Sue’s love of all living creatures.
