Born in Philadelphia, Sam attended Cardinal Dougherty High School and LaSalle University where he studied Economics and Theology. He spent his working career as a Financial Advisor.
A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, Sam served two tours in Vietnam aboard the USS St. Paul and achieved the rank of Lieutenant. He was also a Blue and Gold Navy Officer and Recruiter for the Naval Academy.
Samuel was a member of the VFW. He enjoyed traveling with his spouse, especially trips to the beach and watching baseball. Spending time with his children and grandchildren brought him immense joy.
Sam will be remembered for his quit wit, dry humor, and strong faith. He loved to discuss religion, sports, and family with anyone. Mostly, he was very proud of all his children and truly believed they were his greatest gifts from God.
