Ruth Jackson died on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. She was 73.Born in Cape May Court House, NJ daughter of the late Herschel and Ruth (Martin) McClure, and raised in Avalon and Stone Harbor, NJ, Ruth was a long time Lower Bucks County, PA resident.Ruth was employed with Acme Supermarket at Five Points as a cashier for 17 years and enjoyed being a hostess for Partylite.She was an Bingo enthusiast and enjoyed camping, traveling and trips to Disney.Beloved wife of the late Lewis J. "Buzz", Ruth is the loving mother of Robert (Jeanette), Christopher (Pam), David (Jolie) and Leigh Ann McDermott (Dan).She is the devoted grandmother of Kyle, Steven, Jake, Trevor, Dylan, Derek and Megan.Ruth is the sister of Louise Wittkowski (Carl), George (Lois),, Herschel "Pidge" (Kay), Robert (Pauline) and Steven (Debbie) and the late Harry McClure (Marie).She will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and her pet Yorkie, "Max".Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, December 10, 2016, from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ruth's name may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
