He was 68.Born in West Pittston, Ron has been a Morrisville resident since 1990.He was a proud US Army veteran having served during the Vietnam Era. Until retiring, Ron worked as an overhead Crane Operator at US Steel Fairless Works for over 25 years.He was a cook at the American Red Cross Shelter and was always there ready to help others.Ron loved playing the lottery, fishing with his grandchildren and watching football, but his greatest enjoyment was spending time with the love of his life, Christine.Beloved husband of 38 years to Christine A. (Pratt), Ron is the loving father of Dawn Geinnotta, Ronald E. Manderson, Jr., Derrick M. Manderson (Erica) and Holly M. Strittmatter (Jeff).He is the devoted grandfather of 10 and the brother of Carl, Richie, Tommy and the late Bill Manderson.Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
