Robert E. Gust

Born in Bristol, PA, the son of the late Mary Ellen (Jones) and Peter Gust, Bobby has been a lifelong Levittown resident. He was a 1974 graduate of the former Woodrow Wilson High School and had worked at the former Toys R Us Warehouse.

He loved to play basketball and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

Bobby will lovingly be remembered as a gentle, kind man that you could always count on. He graciously took care of his mother until she passed away.

He was a devoted parishioner of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish.

Bobby is survived by his brothers, Nicholas (Denise) and Peter (Nancy) Gust; his nieces and nephews, Kevin Gust, Nicole Musso, Alyson Gust, Peter Gust, Matthew Gust and Amy Klein; 7 great nieces and nephews; and his cousins, Joanne Soares and Thomas McDermott.

He was predeceased by his parents, his nephew Nicholas P. Gust, Jr. and his cousin, Patrick McDermott.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery, Bensalem.
