Paul Joseph Ciambrone, 83, died on March 16, 2017, following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Ciambrone, née McCloskey.Originally from Easton, Paul was the son of Joseph Ciambrone and Mary Depamphilis. An industrious child, Paul loved reading and tinkering. Social and active, he played football and basketball. He went on to be the first member of his family to graduate high school at Wilson Borough High School in 1953. Paul was also the first member of his family to attend college, receiving a degree in Industrial Arts from Millersville State College, Pennsylvania. Paul then joined the US Army, serving in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, from 1957-1959. Paul was offered a Commission due to having a college degree. Paul moved to Levittown in 1957 and joined Bristol Township School District as an industrial arts teacher. He started at Ben Franklin Middle School and moved on to teach at Neil A. Armstrong Middle School. He took pride in his work and long career. After his retirement from teaching, Paul became an avid golfer at Neshaminy Valley Golf Course for many years. He was to a dedicated father of four, a committed husband of 54 years to Kathleen, and a proud grandfather to six grandchildren. He was a cherished friend, always surrounded by enduring friendships. Paul is survived by his four children: Daniel Ciambrone and his partner, Joanne Mozeleski, of Levittown; Mary Ciambrone of Baltimore; John Ciambrone and his wife, Bridget, of Pipersville; and Thomas Ciambrone and his wife, Katherine, of Wayne. He was the brother of Karen Rauktis nee Ciambrone, and the late Joseph Ciambrone.Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, March 26, 2017, from 10:30 until 11:30 am, at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA, 19056 where his Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 am. Interment will be held at a later date in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
