Patricia "Patty" Anna Hughes

She was born and raised in Philadelphia to Dolores Hughes Boyer Calhoun and Edward Albert Hughes.

Patricia was preceded in death by her eldest sister Delores Hughes. Patricia was the loving sister to her younger siblings, Elias "Dan" Boyer and Debra L. Boyer.

Patty stepped in to assist with raising them due to their mother’s long-term illness. She worked as a CNA at Wood River Village and Right at Home for many years before retirement due to the pandemic.

She was Aunt Patty to all her nieces and nephews: Michael, Melissa, Julisa, Ricky and Samantha. And her great nieces and nephews: Jason, Christopher, Benjamin, Sean, Isabella, Hailey, Dominick, Blake, Ryan, Christian and Aubree, and great, great niece Rosalyn.

She is also survived by many, many beloved cousins that grew up together within a few blocks. Patty would always say how those days were some of the best days of her life.

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. The floor will be open at 12:00 noon for Words of Remembrance.
