Michael Eric Stark

Michael Eric Stark Michael Eric Stark died on Monday, November 14, 2011. He was 21. Born in Sellersville, the son of Eric W. and Sharon E. (Hendershot) Stark, he was raised in Langhorne. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of God's Love, Newtown. Michael graduated from Neshaminy High School in 2009, where he played basketball and made many friends. He was currently a sophomore at Penn State University, Main Campus, where he had studied Physics and Archeology. He enjoyed fishing, playing basketball, spending time in nature and cheering on the Phillies, Eagles and Sixers. Michael was loved by many and a friend to all. He loved to laugh and spend time with his friends, family and dog, Riley. Michael had a strong passion for learning about science, space and ancient societies. He is survived by his parents and his brother, Ryan D. Stark, his maternal grandmother, Janis Walsh Hendershot (the late Jeffrey M.) of Ocala, FL, his paternal grandmother, Margaret B. Stark (the late Richard J.) of Newton, NJ and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, 6:00 until 9:00 pm and on Saturday, 8:30 until 10:30 am at the Lutheran Church of God's Love, 791 Newtown-Yardley Road, Newtown 18940, where his Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Lower Bucks Family YMCA - Strong Kids Campaign, 601 South Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030.
