Mary Rita ZieralskiMary Rita (nee Gerrity) (Weaver) Zieralski, age 95, of Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017. Born on February 4, 1922 to Jeremiah and Martha Gerrity in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. She was one of nine siblings. Her family lived in a small coal miner's town called Mary Dee, Pennsylvania. Sometime in the 1940's, Mary moved to Newark, New Jersey. In December 1949 she married Perry W. Weaver, Sr. They moved to Ewing Township, New Jersey. Mary lived in Ewing for 25 years before relocating to Levittown and Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania were she resided for the last 52 years.Mary was a homemaker most of her life. She also spent a long period of time babysitting for many children of both single and married parents. Her experience as a single mother of four herself, gave her the strength and compassion to help other single parents be able to work and support their children. She loved her family and all children. Mary was especially fond of the many barbecues she had in the back yard, with her family and friends, in the summer time. She spent most of her time baking, reading and watching her favorite TV shows. She was known for her baking skills and her best works were her chocolate cake and coconut custard pie, lasagna and chili. Mary also loved making cookies for her nephew, Brian.Mrs. (Weaver) Zieralski is predeceased by her parents, Jeremiah and Martha Gerrity, her brothers, James, William and John, her sisters, Patricia, Helen, Jean and Eleanor. Her husband, Perry W. Weaver, Sr. and her beloved youngest son, James R. Weaver.She is survived by her daughters, Patricia A. (Weaver) Lynas of Neptune City, NJ and Constance A. (Zieralski) Haber and her husband, Joe of Fairless Hills, PA; her son, Lawrence T. Dixon and his wife, Beverly of Fairless Hills, PA; her grandchildren, Kimberly, Todd, Stacey, Michelle and Brian; her great grandchildren, Nicolette, Kevin, Jacob, Emma, Abigail and Joshua; her great great granddaughter, Charlotte; and her sister, Beverly Douglas of Kenilworth, NJ.Our Hero, Mom, Mommy, Nan, Sister and Aunt will forever be in the hearts of her family. We were Blessed!Graveside service and interment will be held at a later date.
