Mary Grace Miller, age 89, departed this earthly place on July 31, 2024 after succumbing to a stroke. She will now be at peace eternally with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. She was a long time resident of North Carolina.
Mary was born in Philadelphia, PA, to parents, Mary Friel and James McCrane. After graduating from high school, Mary met James Emerson Miller. They wed on October 31,1954 and raised four children together. Jim unfortunately passed in 1978, leaving Mary as a devoted single mother. She dedicated her life to her children, and never remarried. Mary worked many jobs throughout her life, mainly in the business administrative career field. She eventually moved from Pennsylvania to North Carolina in 2003. Mary would continue to live her life independently until her passing.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of over 20 years and her parents.
Mary is survived by her loving children: Maureen Nemeth (Chuck), Michael Miller (Mila), Dennis Miller, and Deirdre Lampreich (Greg); and her grandchildren: Chandra, Amber, Shannon, and Sean.
A viewing for Mary will take place Tuesday, August 13 from 10:00am-10:30am at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056, followed by her service at 10:30am, and burial at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, 1215 Super Highway, Langhorne, PA 19047.
