Mary L. MenendezMary L. (nee Lasich) Menendez died on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She was 98.Born in Clairton, PA, Mrs. Menendez was an original homeowner in Fairless Hills and a founding member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish.Mrs. Menendez was an excellent cook, baker and an avid Phillies fan. She was thoughtful, generous and had a heart of gold. Mrs. Menendez was always there to help others, however, her family always came first.The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the ICU Nursing Staff at Saint Mary Medical Center for the care and compassion shown to their Mother.Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Raymond, Mrs. Menendez is the loving mother of Dolores R. Taylor, Raymond J. (Tina) and Joseph L. Menendez, all of Fairless Hills.She is the devoted grandmother of Carol (Dave) Van Bramer, James J. Taylor (Sarah Breen), Raymond J. IV and Anthony (Lisa) DeCristoforo .She is the proud great grandmother of David and Miranda Van Bramer, Penelope Menendez, Giavanna, Angelina, Anthony DeCristoforo and Samantha Soens.Mrs. Menendez will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and her life long friend, Nancy Palucis.She was predeceased by her parents, Nina (Rados) and Joseph Lasich and 9 siblings.Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 8:30 until 9:30 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 South Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Frances Cabrini Church at the above address.
