Maria J. Hughes

Maria J. Hughes, of Levittown, died on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at her home. She was 61. Born in Philadelphia, Maria has resided in Newtown for the past 20 years. She was employed in administration with New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company in Trenton, NJ and Dove, Inc. in Fallsington for many years. Maria enjoyed reading, crocheting, swimming and traveling. She had a great love for children. Maria was the beloved daughter of Edward J. and Aletha (Margari) Loncosky. She was the loving sister of Michalena Bennett and her husband Brian of Newtown, Robert Loncosky of Fairless Hills, and Joseph Loncosky and his wife Xiaowei of Levittown. She was a devoted aunt to Laura and Amy Loncosky, Courtney Bennett, Dana Zamparelli and her husband Nicholas and Jamie Loncosky and the great aunt of Vincent Zamparelli and Madison Loncosky. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 9172 New Falls Rd., Fallsington where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Commital will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Church.
