Margaret A. ApgarMargaret A. "Peggy" Apgar died on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Chandler Hall in Newtown. She was 64.Born in Trenton, NJ, the daughter of the late Margaret (Schilling) and Franklin John Longevin, she was raised in Ewing NJ. Peggy was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Trenton and the College of New Jersey where she achieved her Bachelor of Arts Degree.Peggy was a resident of Levittown for nearly 40 years and was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish.Until her retirement in 2012, she was employed as a Claims Manager with the State of New Jersey, Appeal Tribunal, Department of Labor for over 20 years.Peggy loved gardening, flowers and just being in the outdoors.Beloved wife of 36 years to the late Edward H., Peggy was the loving mother of Michele Apgar-Foose (Joe) and Jaclyn Apgar (fiance, Shaun Hughes) and the devoted grandmother of Devon, Kiley, Brielle, Paige and Dylan.Peggy will also be sadly missed by several extended family members including Marion Crum and Evelyn Kaveski.Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm and on Tuesday, from 10:30 until 11:30 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 am. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Peggy's name may be made to Chandler Hall Health Services, 99 Barclay Street, Newtown, PA 18940
