Kathryn A. Skahan

Kathryn A. Skahan of Bensalem died on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was 67.Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Skahan was a life long resident of the city before moving to Bensalem in 1989.She worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 23 years until retiring in 2008.She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Hulmeville.Kathryn enjoyed gardening and crocheting, but mostly she loved spending time with family and friends.Beloved wife William A. Skahan for 46 years, Kathryn was the loving mother of Pamela Skahan-Tisone and her husband Louis and the devoted grandmother of 3.She is also survived by her brother Paul Johnson; 1 niece; 1 nephew and several cousins.Family and friends are invited to call from 10 until 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society 100 North 20th St., Suite 405, Philadelphia, P 19103.
