John J. YorkJohn J. "Jack" York died on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia at the age of 75.Born in Bristol, Mr. York has been a resident of Levittown since 1953.He was a self-employed HVAC Mechanic.Beloved husband of 54 years to Gail (King), Mr. York is the loving father of John (Marie), Stephen (Alexandria) and Judy Kolaris (Chris).He is the devoted grandfather of Larry, Autumn, Vincent, John, Abigail, Stephen, Peyton and Shaelyn; and the dear brother of Frank B. York and the late Durry York.Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, May 3, 2018, from 9:00 until 10:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. York's name may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
