John F. Ward III, of Levittown died on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Lower Bucks Hospital. He was 57. Born in Bristol Township, Mr. Ward was a life long resident of Levittown. He was a 1972 graduate of Bishop Egan High School. Mr. Ward worked as a fork lift operator at SIlgan Plastics in Langhorne for 15 years until retiring in 2003. He was a member of Immaculate Conception parish. John loved the game of baseball and was an avid Phillies fan but he truly enjoyed serving as an assistant coach on his grandson Dale's little league team. He also enjoyed the outdoors and camping on the weekends. John was the beloved husband of Sharon L. (O'Connor) Ward with whom he shared his life for 30 years. He was the loving father of Tina Miccio of Abilene, TX, the late Alicia Ward, Kerri Ward and Nicole Ward of Moorestown, NJ, Susan Ambrosino of Levittown and Lia Baigis and her husband John of Levittown. He will be sadly missed by 12 grandchildren. Son of the late John F., Jr. and Eileen Ward, John was the brother of Charles J. Ward and his wife Donna of Langhorne, Karen Bloschichak and her husband Michael of Langhorne and Deborah Reynolds and her husband Robert of Jupiter, FL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd.,, Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church followed by Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery.
