John F. DiFeliceJohn F. DiFelice passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Chandler Hall in Newtown. He was 84.Born and raised in Bristol Boro, Mr. DiFelice was a resident of Middletown Township for the last 59 years and was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish in Levittown.Until his retirement in 1992, Mr. DiFelice had been employed with 3M for 42 years.He was an US Air Force veteran of the Korean War.Most important to Mr. DiFelice was the great love for his family. He was an avid Penn State football fan, and loved the Phillies and Flyers. He also loved listening to Frank Sinatra and Big Band music.The family would like to thank the staff at Chandler Hall for the the care and compassion given to Mr. DiFelice during his illness. They were always there for him as well as for the family.Beloved husband of 58 years to Marie (Blum), Mr. DiFelice is the loving father of Donna Davis (Bill) of Greensboro, NC and Diane Waterson (Steve) of Langhorne; devoted grandfather of Ryan (Nicole), Tyler, Lauren, Evan and Colin; and proud great grandfather of Kelsey and Gianna.He will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Lydia Verduci (Anthony) and Valerie Angelaccio (Art); brother-in-law, Larry Blum (Barbara); and several nieces and nephews.Mr. DiFelice was predeceased by his parents, Umberto and Adalgisa DiFelice and his sister, Gloria Whetstone.Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, from 9:30 until 10:30 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. DiFelice's name may be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital for Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
