John Ciocca, age 33, passed away on November 9th at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He was a resident of Bensalem, PA.
John was born in Langhorne, PA to parents Mary Elizabeth and Fiore Ciocca. He graduated from Bucks County Technical High School.
John is beloved by his family for his warrior spirit, humor, and easy-going presence. His persevering spirit is an inspiration to his family, motivating them through their lives and this difficult time.
John has three great loves: Wrestling, movies & TV, and video games. He is also an avid Eagles fan.
John is an avid wrestling fan; his favorite wrestler is The Undertaker.
Some of his favorite shows include Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, and Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. One of his favorite movies is the wrestling comedy Nacho Libre, which he quoted frequently.
John would spend hours playing video games such as Assassins Creed, Pokémon Go, and Fallout.
John is preceded in death by his best cat, Boz.
John is survived by his parents MaryBeth (Jackson) Ciocca and Fiore Ciocca; sister Daniela (Ciocca) Gelety and brother-in-law John Gelety; brother Michael; sister Melissa (Ciocca) Miedema and brother-in-law Ray Miedema; nephew Colton Miedema; niece Hailey Miedema; maternal grandmother Caroline (Lombardo) Jackson; Aunt Kathy Jackson; Aunt Cristina (Ciocca) DiFrancesco; Uncle Gaetano DiFrancesco; and too many cousins.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056.
A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pennsylvania 19020.
