Born in Tarentum, PA, Randy has been a life long resident of Levittown and was a 1970 graduate of Bishop Egan High School.
He was employed with U.S. Steel's Fairless Works for 32 years in crane repair and later in the Sheet and Tin Division until retiring in 2001. After retiring, Randy began working for Glazing Concepts in Bensalem where he was the head of internal operations.
Randy was always a workaholic, but he truly enjoyed spending time at the family mountain home in Shunk, PA and being with his family.
Beloved husband of Kathleen (Benson) for 48 years, Randy was the loving father of Christie Scheele (Matthew), Coleen Popp (Christopher) and John R. Beighley Jr. (Rachel) and the devoted grandfather of Tyler, Brendan, Zachary, Mackenzie, Johnny, Nathan, Cody and Luke.
Randy was the son of Emogene Stroup and the late Roy Beighley and brother of the late Ronald Beighley (Shirley). He is survived by his siblings, Ralph Beighley (Nancy), Patricia Berry (William), Deborah Boone (Mike), Richard Beighley (late Beverly) and Robert Beighley (Liz) as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Family and friends are invited to call from 6 until 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd., Levittown followed by Rite of Committal at Resurrection Cemetery. There are no calling hours on Thursday prior to the Mass.
