Jerry Morrison

Jerry Morrison, a long time Levittown, PA resident, passed away on February 8th, 2022 at the age of 86. He was born on September 28th, 1935 in West Pittston, PA to the late Earl and Ruth (Lovell) Morrison.

After graduating from West Pittston High School in 1953 he moved to Fairless Hills, PA and worked for US Steel-Fairless Works until his retirement.

Jerry married the love of his life, Jane Phillips, in March of 1957 and moved to Levittown, PA in 1960. Together they raised three children.

Jerry loved following all Philadelphia sports, but he was also a die-hard Yankees fan. He enjoyed his yearly trips to the Jersey shore, reading, Sunday dinner with family, and watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren grow.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Jane, son Steve Morrison, and grandson Aaron Lawson. He is survived by daughter Jackie Lawson (Barry), son Tom Morrison (Cathy), grandchildren Kevin Lawson, Shaina Gibson, Ryan and Jenna Morrison, great grandchildren Connor and Aubrey Lawson (with another on the way), sister Karen Vasvilla (Ron), niece Kari Vasvilla (Mike McCall), and great nephew Nicholas McCall. He will forever be in our hearts.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 16th from 2 to 3 p.m. at James J. Dougherty Funeral home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. A private Interment will be held at Memorial Shrine Cemetery in Carverton, PA at a later date
