Janice was born in Philadelphia, PA, to parents, Albert and Helen. She graduated from Little Flower High School in 1968. Janice went on to establish a career as a Teacher Assistant, working for Neshaminy School District for over 27 years.
Janice was one of the kindest and most giving people, as her selflessness and generosity touched the hearts of many. She took great pride in helping others, and no need or problem was too small for Janice to deem worthy of attention, she truly cared and loved for all.
Janice was preceded in death by her father Albert Fiumecel, and mother Helen Fiumecel (nee Gusick).
Janice is survived by husband David, son David, and sisters Lynn, Carol, and Mary. May she rest in peace knowing how loved she was, and how much love she gave to this world. She will be deeply missed and not soon forgotten.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 9:30am-11:30am, James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA 19056. A private inurnment will occur at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pennsylvania 18940.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations in Janice’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
