Gerald G. Farley, 58, of New York, NY and Egg Harbor Township, NJ - January 28, 2017. Born in Bristol, PA, Jerry grew up in Levittown, PA, and was a 1976 graduate of Bishop Egan High School. He attended undergrad at Colorado Mountain College, majoring in Hospitality Management. He has resided in New York since 1995.Among his many passions, Jerry enjoyed music and loved to sing and play guitar. An accomplished chef, his passion for cooking led to his early career success in the food industry. His managerial expertise later fostered his many achievements in the staffing and business development industries.Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Elizabeth T. Amadio; his loving son Jonah W. Farley; his mother, Roseanna T. (Mooney) Gallagher; brothers, Thomas Lee Farley Jr. and Joseph A. Farley; sister, Susan M Farley; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, the late Thomas Lee Farley Sr.; and his brother, the late Walter M. Farley.Family and friends are invited to call from 7 until 9 P.M. on Friday and from 10 until 11 A.M. on Saturday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 A.M. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, or the ASPCA, in Jerry’s honor.
