He was 58.Born in Trenton, NJ and raised in Bristol Township, Daniel was a lifetime resident of Lower Bucks County. He was a 1976 graduate of the former Woodrow Wilson High School.Dan was most recently employed at Havis Corporation in Feasterville. He was formerly employed with USX Fairless Works and Clarence J. Venne, Inc.Dan enjoyed fishing, golfing and coaching Little League Baseball and Youth Football in Levittown.He was the son of the late Anne M (Leadem) and John A. Slavin. Husband of Patricia A. (Williams), Dan was the father of Daniel J. Jr. (Tami), Keith R. (Jenna) and Michael R. Slavin and the grandfather of Ava Lee, his pride and joy.He will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Kathleen Slavin (Edmund Forker) and Patricia McDowell (Ed); 2 nephews; 4 nieces; 1 aunt; 1 uncle; several cousins; and close friends, Darren and Adrienne Lucas.Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.
