Daniel Patrick Mabin

Daniel Patrick Mabin Daniel Patrick Mabin went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. He was 66. Born in London, England, son of Sheilagh (Folkard) and the late Daniel J. Mabin, Mr. Mabin came to the United States in 1949 and settled in Levittown. He was a 1966 graduate of the former Woodrow Wilson High School. Dan was a fabricator with PennFab in Bensalem for 20 years. He proudly served his country with the US Coast Guard and was the recipient of the Accommodation Medal. Dan enjoyed gardening, traveling with his wife, and especially spending time with his grandchildren and entire family. Beloved husband of 12 years to Kristie A. (Batman), Dan is the loving father of Cory (Nina) and stepfather of Steven Szymanek (Lizz) and Beth Frame. He is the devoted grandfather of Emily, Tyler, Jacob and James. He will be joined in Heaven with his father Daniel J. Mabin and brother Sean Mabin (Kathy). He is the devoted brother of Alexander (Vanessa), Michael (Marion), Sheilagh Moschitti (Gino), Kevin, Maureen McGettigan (Daniel), Mary Bowe (Brian), Kathleen McKamey (Schaunn), Anne Wenderlich (Steven), and Patrick (Donna). Dan will also be sadly missed by his 40 nieces and nephews, 27 great nieces and nephews and his best friend, Steve Burke. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. There will also be a calling hour on Monday, from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:30 pm. The Rite of Committal will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
