Cindy was born on March 11, 1954 in Trenton NJ, to her parents, Lois and Ed Tkacs Sr. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1972. Cindy held many career positions throughout her life. She was secretary for the FBI in Virginia, School Bus driver for Bristol Township and ended her career as an Administrative Assistant for the Engineering Team at the former Rohm & Haas in Bristol, PA.
Anyone who knew Cindy knew her love of baseball and the Philadelphia Phillies. She never missed watching a game. When the Phillies weren’t on, she would watch other MLB teams until the Phillies game started. She loved everything baseball.
As an avid gardener her flowers were always in bloom and the envy of the neighbors with how beautiful her gardens were.
Cindy was a member of the Bensalem Senior Center where she helped with the Meals on Wheels program. There, she also enjoyed painting in the ceramics room with many of her friends. When it came to her grandkids, she enjoyed watching them play football, cornhole, softball and competitive cheerleading. She was always their biggest fan.
Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Robbins.
Cindy is survived by her daughter Crystal Myers (Christopher) of Fairless Hills and son Robert Robbins (Nikki) of Hatboro along with her grandchildren Joshua, Brielle, Rian, Peyton, Ella, Christian, Heather and Gianna. She is also survived by her siblings: Edward Tkacs Jr. (Diane), Denise D’Andrade (Mark) and Brenda Johnston (John Jr.)
A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM. There will be a luncheon to follow.
