Barbara J. (Kemper) Campbell died on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia. She was 65. Born in Camden, NJ, the daughter of the late Adelaide (Bridge) and Robert Edwards, she had resided in North Carolina and Pottsville prior to moving to Hulmeville in 1972. Unitl her retirement in 2010, Mrs. Campbell was a waitress at the Blue Fountain Diner for 32 years. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge in Levittown. Mrs. Campbell enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, fishing and softball. She was an avid Phillies, Flyers and Eagles fan. She was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. Loving mother of the late Benay Kemper and grandmother of the late Jesse Coster, Mrs. Campbell was the beloved wife of 8 years to Albert Campbell. She was the devoted mother of Boyce James Kemper, Jr. and Bonnie Jean Morath; step mother of Albert L. Campbell (Christy) and Nichole Coe; proud grandmother of Coryn Campbell, Christian Campbell, Michele Justine and Danielle Justine Kemper, Benay Annmarie Morath; and sister of Judy Ann Capelli (Mike) and Robert Edwards (Yvonne). Mrs. Campbell will also be sadly missed by her aunt, Alice Strahle, her first husband, Boyce James Kemper, Sr. and several nieces and nephews. Family and close friends may call from 1 until 2 p.m. on Saturday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levitwn where her funeral service will be held at 2p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Autism Society, 4340 East West Highway, Suite 350, Bethesda, MD 20814.
