Al is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Carmela Gorski (nee Russo) and their children, Angela Clough (Paul), Sean Cosgrove (Deborah Dryden), Kristina Snyder (Christopher), Kathleen Horn (Andrew.) He is also survived by his sister, Marie Antonelli. He will be sadly missed by his 13 precious grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Gorski was predeceased by his parents, the late Alexander J. Gorski, Sr. and the late Marie Gorski (nee Slover) and by his infant son, Michael Gorski.
Born in Philadelphia, on September 22, 1950, Al was known to everyone as the man who could fix anything. He was a master electrician and master plumber, proudly working in Central Maintenance at U.S. Steel for 30 years before his retirement in June, 2000. In his later years, he worked in maintenance at Twining Village Retirement Community and as a truck driver for Traction Tire prior to his illness.
Al enjoyed hunting and fishing at the cabin he helped build, in Haneyville, PA. He also enjoyed vacationing with his wife and spending time with his family.
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 until 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27th at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m.
