Roy Edgar Bryant

Roy Edgar Bryant Sr., age 81 of Lenoir, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 under Amorem Hospice. Born Thursday, April 17, 1941 to the late Kathleen Prestwood and Ambrose Bryant in Caldwell County NC.

Mr. Bryant is survived by his wife of 26 years, Linda Winebarger Bryant. Sons Roy Bryant Jr. (Wife Luzviminda) and Robin Laws II. Daughters Wanda Watson (Husband Jeff), Rachel Ellis (Husband Frank), Adriane Laws, and Lana Laws. Roy leaves behind six grandchildren and four great grandchildren along with a number of nephews and nieces. His stepmother Faye Bryant and sister Sybil Myers will always remember the love they shared for him.

Roy will be remembered for loving everyone, a people person that would do anything for you. While he did not have many words, everyone knew to listen when he spoke. Roy put family first and provided for them even before himself.

The Bryant family will receive friends Friday, September 30, 2022 from 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm at Pendry's Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service for Roy will be held at Pendry's Funeral Home on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 2:00 pm with the Pastor Tim Elliot and Tony Goins officiating.

Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 1545 Orchard Dr, Lenoir, NC.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Amorem Hospice 902 Kirkwood St NW, Lenoir, NC.
