Rebecca Stines Dellinger

Mrs. Dellinger was born August 29, 1957 in Carter County, TN to the late David Stines and Goldene Potter Stines. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister; Carolyn McKinney and a brother; Jesse J. Stines.

Mrs. Dellinger was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren. She worked as a CAN in home health care for many years. She was an active member of Cornerstone Covenant Church in Hudson and before she moved to this area, she was a member of Blue Ridge Mtn. Church in Elk Park. Rebecca was active in her church, loved by her family and friends, and devoted to her Lord.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Stephen McDaniel of Newland, Daughter, Miracle Dellinger of Lenoir, grandchildren; Elijah McDaniel of Knoxville, TN, Gavan and Jada McDaniel of Newland, and two brothers; Donald E. Stines and wife Evelyn and David G. Stines and wife Melissa both of Elk Park.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00 am at Cornerstone Covenant Church with Reverend Freddie Stapleton and Brother Don Stines officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Mtn. Church Cemetery in Elk Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family through Cornerstone Covenant Church at PO Box 488 Hudson, NC 28638. This will help the family with funeral expenses.
