Pam was born in Caldwell County on December 8, 1958. She was the daughter of Juanita Spicer St. John and the late Roy Lee St. John. Pam was a loving and devoted daughter and wife. She worked as an operations technician for Exela Pharmaceuticals for many years and loved her job and her work family. Pam was very close to her family and cherished the time she was able to spend with them. She spoke often of childhood times when she and her cousins would spend time playing outdoors and she held those memories close. Pam will forever be remembered as a woman with a kind heart and caring nature.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her precious husband of twenty years, Danny Ervin Freeman, her brother, Bobby Ray St. John, maternal grandparents, Eugene and Vena Spicer and paternal grandparents, Cleve and Delia St. John.
In addition to her beloved mother, she is survived by a sister-in-law, Lara St. John of Granite Falls. Also left to cherish her memory are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
A funeral service to honor Pam will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Spicer officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, father and brother.
