Nancy Jones Moretz

She is survived by her husband, Elmer Moretz; a son, Gary Moretz; a grandson, Adam Thomas Moretz and his mother Teresa and sister, Morgan Ann; three sisters, Mabel Brown of VA, Ivalee Hayes and husband Lee, Brenda Gragg and husband Johnny of Boone; a brother, Clyde Jones and wife Nancy of Boone. She is also survived by 2 sisters-in-law, Marie Jones and Georgia Jones, and number of nieces and nephews, and two special sisters-in-law, Ruth Ellen Shaver and husband Robert of Independence, VA, and Pauline Eldreth of Boone, NC.

She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Wade Moretz; her father and mother, Tom and Carrie Jones; a sister, Stella Mae Jones; four brothers, Chester, Lester, Kenneth and Bobby Jones, and an infant baby Jones.

Funeral services for Mrs. Moretz will be held Friday, October 05, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Pendry’s Chapel with Reverend Ed Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.

The family respectfully requests in lieu of food that memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
