Namon was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed spending his time with friends, family, and his German Shepherd, Bo. He is retired from Bernhardt Furniture.
Those left to cherish his memory include daughters Lisa Bradshaw and Leslie Smith (husband Brian) of Lenoir. Three brothers Wayne and Mack Minton (Mary Jane), with brother in-law Stanley Watson. Five sisters Shirley Calloway (Claill), Wanda Hamm, Bonnie Townsend, Diane Casper (Tommy), and Ruby Casper (David) all of Lenoir.
Mr. Minton also leaves behind four grandchildren Elisa and Tyler Bradshaw, Kara and Savanah Smith, and two great grandchildren Vayla and Genesis. Mr. Minton also leaves behind a numerous number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Minton is preceded in death by a sister Barbara Watson.
The Minton family will hold a graveside service on Thursday June 2nd, 2022 at 11:00 am at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 5560 Mt. Zion Church Road, Ferguson NC 28624. Pastor Leonard Younce will officiate.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
