Mike Rosy Moretz

He was born in Caldwell County, October 5, 1955 to the late John Howard and Mildred Mathewson Moretz.

“Rosy” loved old cars, and enjoyed spending time at the beach.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Hamby Moretz of the home; one sister, Pat Moretz Puckett; nephews, Nelson Joe Stallings and John Michael Stallings; best friends, Tres Wilson, Mac Martin and Brent Watson; and his extended family of the Lenoir Uptown Cruisers.

Funeral services for “Rosy” will be held Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Hartland Baptist Church at 3:00 pm with Reverend Matthew Grindstaff officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm at Hartland Baptist Church prior to the service. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Shew, Bobby Lambert, Randy Watson, Alan Lutz, Eddie Lutz, David Robbins, Roy Barnwell, Oscar Carter, Richard Wright and Ryan Andrews.
