Michael "Scott" Gragg

Mr. Gragg was born in Caldwell County to Ronnie Gragg and Barbara Coffey Gragg of Morganton. He was self-employed and a member of Brown Mountain Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his brother David Gragg.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Gretchen Gragg of Lenoir; his son, Cale Gragg of Lenoir; his brother, Jeff Gragg and wife Sherry of Lenoir; two nieces, Allison Gragg Coffey and Ashley Gragg Byrd and a number of great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held in Pendry’s Chapel Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Johnny Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at the Gragg Family Cemetery in the Globe Community. The family will receive friends at Pendry’s Funeral Home prior to the service from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Hollar, Richard Clark, Ken Stamper, Michael Fitzgerald, Quinn McGee, and Neal Gragg.

The family requests that memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
