Karen Barngrover Glove

Kate was born on December 5, 1950 in Newfoundland, Canada to the late Robert Barngrover and Vivian Morey Barngrover. In addition to her parents, Kate is preceded in death by her husband Stephen Glove, a sister Joyce Barngrover, a brother, Brian Barngrover and son-in-law Tommy Oxford. She is survived by her daughter Stephenie Oxford of Lenoir, NC, one son; Shane Glove of Rancho Cordova, CA, two sisters; Becky McElliot and husband Ron of Medford, OR and Debbie Barngrover of Dahlonega, GA, two brothers; Kenny Barngrover of Yuba City, CA and Robert Barngrover, Jr. of Medford, OR and grandsons Brandon Oxford and Chad Oxford of Lenoir, NC as well as many nieces and nephews.

Receiving for Kate will be on Tuesday, December 10th from 3pm – 7pm at the home and the service will be on Wednesday, December 11th at 2:00 pm at St. Stephen Lutheran Church at 1406 Harper Avenue, Lenoir, NC with Pastor Tony Bradshaw officiating.

Kate had a life full of interesting adventures that provided her many experiences. But, her most precious years were the past years spent here in North Carolina with her Grandsons. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
