Joyce Marie Braswell

Mrs. Braswell was born June 7, 1921 in Caldwell County to the late Thomas Eber Clark and Alma Estelle Pitts Clark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jonas Elmo Braswell, a son, Wayne Braswell, two grandsons; Kelly Braswell, Jody Pritchard, five brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Braswell was member of Berea Advent Christian Church in Collettsville, she was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, putting her time and energy into raising her family and caring for their needs. She enjoyed cooking and camping.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Ralph Braswell and wife Pat, Gary Braswell, Lloyd Braswell and wife Peggy, Boyd Braswell, all of Lenoir, daughters, Elaine Anderson and husband Eddie, Gail Pritchard and husband Allen, both of Lenoir, a brother, Henry Clayton Clark of Lenoir, thirteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, fifteen great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A Graveside Service to honor Mrs. Braswell will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Braswell Family Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Travis and Ashley Braswell, Chad Anderson, Mark Roberts, Johnny Gragg and Robert Walsh.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.
