John William Dunn Jr, age 74 of Lenoir, passed away, on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at The North Carolina State Veterans Home, in Black Mountain NC. Born Thursday, July 17, 1948 to the late Kathleen Knopfle and John William Dunn Sr. in Tonasket, Washington.

Mr. Dunn is survived by his loving sister Debbie Cerminaro (Joseph) of Lenoir, two nephews Daniel and John Early, along with two nieces Carrie Mull and Amy Maddox.

John, will be remembered for being a loving brother and uncle. Devoting his time to his family and the outdoors, he enjoyed spending the time viewing nature. Mr. Dunn served our country proudly in the United States Navy from 1969-1973.

There are no formal service planned at this time, and inurnment will be with the family.
