Gladys (Miller) Lewis

Gladys (Miller) Lewis, age 88, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at AMOREM Hospice in Valdese. Gladys was born April 25,1935 in Watauga County to the late Willard Russell Miller and Dacie Lourania Watson Miller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Allie Lewis, sisters, Marie Robbins and husband Ronda, Dellie Price and husband Junior and a brother, Ken Miller.

Gladys was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Rock View Baptist Church in Triplett, NC. She was employed by Broyhill Furniture for over 20 years.

Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Randy Lewis and wife Diane of Lenoir, a granddaughter, Laura Lewis of Lenoir, a sister, Carmell Robbins and a sister-in-law, Betty Miller.

A funeral service for Gladys will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home, 522 Wilkesboro Blvd SE, Lenoir, North Carolina with Rev. Brian Dula officiating.

Gladys will be laid to rest in Robbins Family Cemetery, Buffalo Cove, North Carolina. Serving as pallbearers will be Joel Timbs, Nathan Gilbert, Ted Staton, Brian Dula and Brent Dula.
